Where are
the best places to stay in Dallas and how are the hotels
priced?
Hotels in the areas of downtown and Uptown are the best
areas to stay in, although they
are also among the most
expensive. Most of the chain hotels in Dallas are moderately
priced between 50 and $110. Higher end hotels are upwards of $160.
The hotel tax at
present is 15%.
I'm only going
to be in Dallas for a day, where do you suggest I hang out to get a feel
of
the city?
Many of Dallas' sites are downtown, close to
the visitor's center and the West End
historic district.
Fair Park which is a few mile east of there has a big collection of
museums and architecture which should keep you
occupied.
