How expensive are hotels in Tucson and can you suggest any?

Hotel prices vary considerably in Tucson with a lot depending on the time of
year you are coming. (Generally we have higher rates in the Winter and Spring).
Hotel Congress is a very popular downtown hotel that dates back to the 1920's.
 As far a top-end hotel, there is the Arizona Inn which takes up almost a full
block in a wealthy residential neighborhood.  It is secluded and relaxing with
well groomed grounds.  There's also a great restaurant, sauna, and exercise
room too.


What is the weather like in Tucson?

Temperatures in Tucson often hover in between 70 and 80 degrees during the
Winter but can reach well over 100 in the summer.  The surrounding mountains
however offer year-round  respite as Sabino Canyon, 15 miles northeast of
downtown is a popular getaway.


Any good sights I can see while strolling through downtown Tucson?

In downtown Tucson, you can stroll through craft stores and old 19th century
buildings in the Presidio Historic District.  The Tucson Museum of Art is also
well worth seeing with its 20th century works of western art.


My friend and I are biking enthusiasts, what can you suggest as far as
bicycling through Tucson?

Bikes are a fantastic way of getting around Tucson.  You can rent one at Fair
Wheel at 1110 E 6th st and then ride it across the Diamondback Bicycle
Pedestrian Bridge, just east of downtown, which takes you over the Broadway
Blvd traffic via a rattlesnake metal sculpture.
