Yes, the Bay area is
very scenic. I would suggest driving up 275 from the South
via
the Sunshine Skyway - it is a majestic looking bridge. You
can stop at a scenic overlook right
before the bridge or stop at
one of the two fishing piers at either end of the
bridge.

Rays play their games in St Petersburg at Tropicana field. Just take

Where do you suggest staying that's centrally
located to all 3 communities?

Tampa, St. Petersburg, and
Clearwater are all beautiful areas with lots of stuff to do (check out
the other pages of this site for tips). Personally I like the
beaches of St Petersburg and
Clearwater the best (no beach in
Tampa as it is on the bay. As for where to stay that's
centrally located, you can try hotels on Ulmerton Rd. (there's a
couple of nice Marriott hotels)
which is just east of Tampa, just
west of Clearwater, and just north of St
Petersburg.

You have
baically 3 choices - Taxi/Limousine service, airport rental car services,
or
shared ride services. Bay Shuttle and Super Shuttle are two

The Tampa
Bay Performing Arts Center is one of the largest performing arts facilty
in the
country located in downtown Tampa on the East bank of the
Hillsborough river. You can call

shows or pick up a free copy of the Weekly Planet which lists all
shows, concerts, and cultural activites coming to the Tampa
area.

Actually, Tampa is
on the Bay so there are no beaches in Tampa itself. However,
Clearwater
and St Petersburg both have lovely beaches
with very white sand. You can take Ulmerton
Rd. west to
Gulf Blvd - North is to Clearwater, South is to St.
Petersburg.

Ybor City is real
popular with the younger people. It's streets are lined with bars and
music
clubs in an atmosphere similar to that of New Orleans.
