I am
going to visit St Louis with 2 girls 8 and 13 for three days and want to
make the most of it for the girls on a limited budget. The
Arch is one of the things they want to see but what else would be
great for them to see? We will be coming in in Amtrak.
Great! Your coming
directly into downtown the center of it all. You'll get off at Union Station, there is a shopping plaza there, mostly with souvenirs to
remember your trip. Also there is a movie theatre and plenty of
places to eat all in that central hub. The City Museum is also
down there, it features alot of visual and hands on activities. If you're
staying in the downtown area Dave and Busters is a great place to
go where you can eat and play games and it's right across the
bridge. Forest Park is also a great place to visit, it offers the zoo, the
boathouse, and great museums
I am looking for a fun place to
take my family on vacation. I am looking for zoos museums and
other fun things for small children to do
Well, Forest Park sounds like
the place for you. It houses our world famous zoo, the boat house, the art and history museum, and the muny (which hosts
different plays for free throughout the summer). There is also
the city museum or the majic house which is great for kids, they
have all kinds of interactive and hands on things to see and touch.
Thanks for stopping by.
Can you tell me which
area,s are good to stay at, and the 1,s to
avoid......
There are no really bad places
to stay where hotels are located, but probably the best places to
stay to get the best out of the city would be Downtown, Central(U.City,
Clayton, Ladue,CWE) or the airport. They give you the most
exposure to the areas sites and transportation is easier as
well. Hope this helps
What are the best ways of
getting around St. Louis?
Metrolink (Public
transportation) Rental Car (everything's within 20min. of each other,
very easy to get around)
