The Third Street Promenade is a real
popular pedestrian mall that extends for 3
long blocks from
Wilshire Blvd south to Broadway. Other attractions include
the
quaint carousel on the famous Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Park which
has a small amusement park with a Ferris wheel and roller coaster.
If you're
into contemporary art, there's the Santa Monica
Museum of Art which is a mile
inland.
