I'm thinking of visiting and possibly moving to Brevard County, can you tell me
what type of place it is to live or visit?

Brevard County, home to Melbourne and Cocoa Beach, is a really nice place to
visit and live.  The area has many fun and relaxing things to do whether you are a
first time tourist or a year-round resident.  You can enjoy the gorgeous beach
sunrises, ride the waves, collect seashells on clean beaches, see birds and wildlife
in their natural environment and, if  you're lucky enough, you might even view a
spectacular shuttle launch.  The area also offers a high quality of life with excellent
schools and medical facilities.  Travel in and out of the area is also very
convenient via Melbourne International Airport.

Can you suggest a nice hotel in Cocoa Beach that has direct access to the beach
and is near Ron Jons Surf Shop?

There is a Comfort Inn next to Ron Jons that has direct access to the beach.
Other nice hotels on the beach include the Doubletree hotel and the Hampton Inn
- both with great views!

Where is the best place to view a space launch?

The best viewing sites for a launch from the Kennedy Space Center include: along
the shores of the Indian River in downtown Titusville, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of
Fame, U.S. Space Walk of Fame, the Cocoa Beach Pier or any of the beaches
south of Port Canaveral along the Space Coast.  The Kennedy Space Center
Visitot Complex also offers a "Launch Viewing Opportunity Ticket" which
provides transportation to the Space Center viewing site seven miles from the
Shuttle Pads.

What kind of stuff is there to do in Cocoa Beach besides the Space Center?

You can visit Cocoa Village which is a charming and historic area that features
tree-lined streets. There are many specialty shops offering gift items, arts and
crafts, clothing, gourmet food items and antiques.  The village is the site of arts
and crafts shows year-round.
