What
kind of transportation options are available from the Los Angeles
Airport?
Three main companies operate
door-to-door shuttles from LAX. You can pick them
up on the
lower level of all terminals under signs labeled "Shuttle". The
three
companies are Prime Time, Super Shuttle and Xpress Shuttle.
Approximate prices
are $12 to downtown, $19 to Hollywood
and $14 to Santa Monica. Many LA
hotels have arrangements
the shuttle companies for discounted or free pick-ups.
Taxis are also
readily available as dispatchers will summon one for you for between
$25 and $35 to Downtown or Hollywood. Also, all the major
car-rental agencies
have branches located in LAX.
