The 208 acre Henderson Beach State Park is a
gem among the Destin
condominiums. It is over a mile of
shoreline along the Gulf of Mexico. There
are outside

laundry facilities. It is a good home base from which you can see
the area
attractions. Next to this hotel is a Shoney’s
restaurant for the budget minded.
They have an inexpensive
breakfast and dinner buffet and HoJo guests receive a
discount.
Where is the Destin Chamber of Commerce
located?
Destin Chamber of Commerce at 4484 Legendary Dr at Hwy 98
offers
brochures for attractions and accommodations in the area.

Where are some nice quiet beaches and some
non-touristy attractions?
The beachfront between Fort Walton Beach and
Destin, owned by the US Air
Force, is pristine. The beaches
of South Walton are stunning and Grayton
Beach State Park is an
oasis.
The Indian Temple Mound Museum is a look into the prehistoric
past. Exhibits
include Native American flutes, pottery and
a display of Indian dwellings by
region.
