How long of a drive to DC from
Baltimore airport?…also how close if
Chesapeake bay from
airport?
The Baltimore airport (BWI) is
around 35 miles from DC. I would say it's around
45 minutes
if there's no trafiic but that's a BIG IF. Chesapeake Bay is around
15
miles from BWI.
What is the best and economical
way to reach Celie's inn on Thames
street from the downtown
greyhound bus terminus and similarly from
Celie's inn to the
convention centre?
Probably the best and most fun
way of getting from Fells Point (where Celie's Inn
is located) is
by Water Taxi. It's 8 dollars for the entire day with stops along
the
Harbor Waterfront. You can get off at either the Harbor
Place stop and walk
down either Conway or Pratt Streets to the
Convention Center. I am not reaaly
sure where the Greyhound
station is but you could probably do a Yahoo Map-It
search on
it.
How far is the airport from
Baltimore's downtown?
Baltimore-Washington
International Airport (BWI) is 10 miles south of downtown
via Rte
295.
I'm
coming with my kids to Baltimore. Any suggestions for some family
friendly activities?
Baltimore is a perfect
family-friendly city with most attractions centered on the
Inner
Harbor including the famous National Aquarium. Other fun things are
the
Port Discovery, Baltimore Zoo, and the Maryland Science
Center.
What's a good Sports Bar to go
to around the Inner Harbor to watch all
the
games?
Located on Pratt St, there's
none better than the ESPN Zone. They got good
food, interactive
games, and more than a hundred tv's. If you stop by the
Visitor's
Center, you can get a coupon for a $20 Game Card for
$10.
