very expensive to stay at in Atlanta?

Rates at downtown
hotels tend to fluctuate wildly depending on whether there is a large
convention in town.. Weekends are often cheaper, as are hotels away
from downtown.
A cheap option is to stay somewhere along the MARTA
line, further outside the city and take
the train into the city
for sightseeing. The trip by train to downtown should take around 35
minutes.

to/from the airport to downtown Atlanta?

The Metropolitan
Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority rail line (MARTA) travels to/from the
airport to downtown. This is a great choice for getting to and
from the airport. The Atlanta
Airport Shuttle also
transports passengers to hotels all over the city in a minibus. All
the
major car rental agencies have desks at the baggage claim
level.

Where can I stay in the Atlanta Area at
reasonable price? I am renting a car so I don't have
to
stay downtown.

The most reasonably priced hotels and
motels are located on the outskirts of the city. Here
are
where most of the inexpensive chains are located like Fairfield Inn, Red
Roof Inn, Holiday
Inn, etc. Highway 285 which loops around
Atlanta should take you to most of these hotels.

live?

Cascade Heights neighborhood in the Southwest part
of the Atlanta area is a nice area that is
currently experiencing
new construction. Marietta, around 11 miles Northwest of Atlanta is
also a nice area with great places to eat, shop and live. And
if you are looking for very
expensive exquisite homes, you could
look in Buckhead.

Any good sports bars around the
Philips Arena/Georgia Dome?
Answer:
That area is not really
known for sports bars, but if you travel a few minutes to Buckhead,
you will find the ESPN center, and if you travel a little ways to
Marietta, you will find Dave
and Busters which is a real fun
restaurant/bar complete with an adult sports
gameroom.

Can you recommend a good
Steakouse?
Answer:
The Capitol Grill in Buckhead - great steaks
and fish - great service - great view of city - kind
of on
expensive side but worth it.
